Today I think I was "closing" my entry too much. If there is a line going straight down the middle of my body, it means my entry is going too far in to the center. I need to enter my hands out wider from that imaginary center line.
I swam competitively for 8 years, starting in high school. I swam for D3 Alma College from 1996-2000 where I specialized in the 200 backstroke (1:58) and did ok in the 200/400 IMs (2:02, 4:22).
I got back in the water and started competing again in 2008, with the idea that I want to get better at the breaststroke and train for a good run at the 400 IM.
