5.22.09 - Drillin'

My free's been feeling like the stink-stink lately, so I got in and did several 50's and 100's drill. I don't remember how much of each but I did:

* body pos'n kick with hands at side, kicked ez and tried to maintain good posture
* superman swimming w/snorkel
* head up w/snorkel, watching hands
* swim w/ankle strap, worked on posture
* 1 hand on kickboard, 1 hand swimming to keep my left hand/arm from crossing over
* swim w/catch-up stick, mainly to keep my right arm from sweeping out

4 x 50 @15s K w/fins, arms at side. I alternated odds with a more relaxed posture, what I usually do, and evens with my neck extended more and flatter back. I did 2 moderate then 2 fast, trying to keep my kick at the same intensity and the turns the same across the 50s. The fast one was 2 seconds faster with the extended neck + flatter back.

I might go back later to swim a workout with the Senior USS kids if I get out of work early enough. We shall see.
